CDX annual conference will explore the role of community
development during a recession and demonstrate that without
skilled community development workers, the economic downturn
will have long-lasting effects on communities already
feeling the pinch. This one-day event will focus on the key
issues of working with communities during and after a
recession and explore the possibilities of renewal and
sustainable working. There will be workshops, seminars and
an interactive market place demonstrating examples of good
practice. Key note address will include perspective from
practitioners about supporting communities in times of need
and being resourceful in a recession, as well as exploring
‘Environmental, Social & Economic Justice.
